Brad Smithy is the Market Executive for the Florida Market at UBS Financial Services. He is responsible for the Wealth Management business and Private Wealth Management business within 34 offices in Florida. Brad oversees approximately 385 Financial Advisors and 265 support staff who manage a combined total of over $73 billion in client assets. With a focus on providing a full range of solutions to address client needs, Brad's vision for the Florida Market is simple – To be the provider of choice for Wealth Management advice in the communities in which we serve.

Professional History
Brad joined UBS in 2009 as Complex Director of the Florida East Coast Complex. Most recently, Brad led the Central Division. Prior to joining the firm, he was a 16- year veteran of Merrill Lynch where he held numerous roles including Financial Advisor, Complex Sales Manager, District Sales Manager and Complex Director, where he was a consistent top performer each year.

Community Involvement
Brad serves as a member of the board for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as for the Planned Giving Council of the Place of Hope. He is also an Ambassador for the Honda Classic Event.

Family & Personal Interests
Brad and his wife, Laura, reside in North Palm Beach, FL and have three children. Will is in Medical School at Nova Southeastern University, Ben attends Azusa Pacific University, and Anna attends the University of Florida. Brad is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time boating, fishing, and attending sporting events.

Bob is responsible for the UBS South Florida Wealth Management and Private Wealth Management businesses from Vero Beach to Miami. In total, he oversees 187 financial advisors and 133 team associates that generate $324 million in revenue. Bob's many years of industry experience as a Financial Advisor and Manager have provided him with a unique skillset that enables him to assist Financial Advisors in delivering the highest level of service and value to their clients.

He joined UBS in January of 2007. While at UBS, he has held the positions of Market Head, Regional Sales Manager, Branch Manager and Business Development Coach.

Prior to joining UBS, Bob began his career as a Financial Advisor. After 13 years, he progressed to roles such as Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Assistant Complex Manager, and Head of European Equity Capital Markets.

He resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his wife Marina, and has two children, Michael and Julianna.

Professional history
Greg is the Managing Director for UBS' Florida Market. He is a key member of UBS Global Wealth Management's Leadership Team and has worked for UBS more than 26 years. Prior to his current role, Greg held positions as the Atlantic Region Executive Director, Branch Manager of offices in suburban St. Louis, Assistant Branch Manager in Chicago and Account Vice President and Financial Advisor in Denver, CO & Phoenix, AZ. Through his experiences and various roles at UBS, Greg has developed strategic thinking that is crucial to meeting client and employee needs.

Community involvement
Greg is involved in the community by serving as a board member for several organizations. His involvement includes serving on The Executive Board of Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Council, Executive Committee & Board of Trustees for the Straz Center for Performing Arts of Tampa Bay, and the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In addition, he is a 2013 alumni of Leadership Tampa. Greg volunteers as a mentor for military veterans via American Corporate Partners, as well as, a mentor for two high school students through Hillsborough County's Taking Stock in Children Program.

Personal
He is also an enthusiastic sports fan, with a passion for soccer, tennis and surfing. Greg and his wife, Brooke, have two children. His son, Jake, is a junior at the University of Georgia and his daughter, Anna, is a senior at Plant High School in South Tampa.

Julene is the Associate Market Executive for the Florida Market.  Prior to becoming the Associate Market Executive, Julene held various positions at UBS including Market Supervisory Officer, Market Administrative Officer, Complex Administrative Manager and Administrative Manager.

Professional History
Julene has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Julene has decades of experience on the sales side during her various roles as a Market Administrative Officer, Complex Administrative Manager and Administrative Manager and in recent years the Market Supervisory Officer role has increased her knowledge of the products from a Regulatory perspective.  This gives Julene a unique perspective of finding the right balance between products and suitability that helps the Financial Advisors and their Team Associates execute their goals.  Julene has several years of experience coaching and mentoring Advisors and Team Associates.  She has the uncanny ability of getting employees to do what's best for them, even when they might disagree.

Education and Personal Information
Julene holds an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration from NCTC - Connecticut. She holds several industry licenses including FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, 66, 9, 10 and Life, Health, Variable Annuity.   She is an alumni of UBS' Ascent Program, UBS’ Elevate Program and was a member of Administrative Management Advisory Council (AMAC) 2012-2014 and 2019-2020. She speaks fluent Spanish.

Julene, her husband Abel and their blended family of three children, Ahmose, Khyler & Robert, and one dog live in Miramar, FL.  She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading and dancing to reggae music.

Above all, Karmen is passionate about helping successful financial advisors, their team and their clients experience enhanced growth. She has led an impressive career in sales leadership in her 25 years working in the finance industry. She has been with UBS for over 23 years holding positions varying from Financial Advisor to leadership roles such as Assistant Market Head within the Private Wealth Division in New York City. Most recently, Karmen has stepped into the role of Market Director for Southwest Florida including responsibility for our Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Naples and Sarasota offices.

A self-described results oriented growth and execution professional, Karmen focuses on a client forward philosophy. Her goal is to ease the process of doing business. She is committed to creating a culture of positivity and productivity allowing for individualized experiences for all clients, financial advisors and team associates. For Karmen, helping people is the most rewarding part of the role.

Growing up in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado provided Karmen with a solid grounded approach to the professional and personal balance that is crucial to true success. Achieving her BSBA in Marketing from the University of Denver prior to the start of her career as a Financial Advisor in Beverly Hills provided a foundation for her flourishing career. When she in not at work, Karmen can be found exploring great new restaurants or embarking on a personal or competitive run.

Brad's continued focus is making UBS in the Greater Miami Market the destination of choice for wealthy clients. Brad joined UBS (then PaineWebber) in March of 1996. Throughout his more than 27 years at UBS, he has built an in-depth knowledge of the solutions and services we offer our clients, and how best to deliver them to help with their ever-changing needs.

Brad received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers College, Rutgers University. He is very involved in the community philanthropically, with Make a Wish Southern Florida and The Chapman Partnership, among others.

Suzann serves as the Market Director for the Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Stuart and Vero Beach offices of UBS.  Prior to becoming the Market Director, Suzann held various positions at UBS including Branch Manager, Assistant Market Head, Sales Manager and Regional Development Officer.  Before UBS, she was a Financial Advisor at a competitor firm for eight years.

Suzann has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her broad and diverse background in client acquisition, personal development, business growth and strategy are invaluable when helping Financial Advisors and their clients achieve their long-term goals. She is proud to connect clients to the global resources of UBS. In addition, she serves as a coach to the advisors she works with to help them create a vision for their team and a plan to execute that vision.

Education and Personal Information

Suzann holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Florida with dual major in Finance and Marketing. She also has her Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University with a focus in Financial Planning.  She holds several industry licenses including FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 9/10 and Life, Health, Variable Annuity.  

Suzann, her husband Cory and their three children, Colin, Adison and Ava live in Delray Beach, FL.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography and traveling.

Mike is responsible for the UBS Wealth Management and Private Wealth Management businesses in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a highly accomplished and dynamic professional with over 37 years of experience in the financial services industry, and a proven track record of success as an Executive Director. Mike has demonstrated great leadership skills, and with his strategic vision, has been able to provide guidance to his Financial Advisors with the best results to offer to their clients.

Mike started his career in 1986 as a Financial Advisor. Throughout his career, he held several leadership roles, including heading the Internal Audit Department as the Director of Branch Review. In 2006, he joined UBS as the Complex Director and Branch Manager of the Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens offices, transferring to the Boca Raton office in 2009.

Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance/Economics from Mt. Saint Mary’s University. He resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife, Nancy, and two Boys Brendan and Bryan.
