Experience

Ben assumed his current role of Market Director at UBS in February of 2020, bringing with him over 39 years of industry experience. Starting out as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in Syracuse, NY, Ben shifted into a management roll in 1993 when he was appointed Branch Manager of Morgan Stanley in Springfield, MA. Ben’s most recent role at Morgan Stanley as Regional Director of the South Central Region ended in 2006 when he joined UBS as Mid-Atlantic Regional Director in Washington, D.C. Since then Ben has held various managerial positions with UBS, most recently as the Dallas, TX Market Head from 2016-2020. Ben earned his BA from Niagara University and then went on to complete a master’s program in Executive Finance with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ben and his wife Kathleen have raised four wonderful children together and currently reside in Skaneateles, NY. In his free time Ben enjoys golfing, fishing and skiing.

Gary has been in the industry since 1992. He has been a Financial Advisor, Training officer, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Complex Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Assistant Market Executive. In this role he is critical in the running of the day to day activities of the Rochester Branch. 

Prior to joining the Financial Services Industry, he served as an Army officer at Fort Bragg, NC. Gary is a graduate of Airborne School, Jumpmaster School and Jungle Warfare School. His military awards include the Bronze Star Medal (for service in the Gulf War) and the Master Parachutist Badge among others.

Gary is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson. An avid runner, he has run seven marathons and numerous Half Marathons. He holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Shorin Ryu Karate, and a Red belt in Yamani Ryu, an Okinawan Weapons discipline.

Gary lives in Fairport, NY .

Peter collaborates with market administrative leadership and team associates to enable them to deliver memorable service experiences to both internal and external clients. He does this by leveraging his experience in leadership, coaching, management, and sharing best practices. Peter joined UBS in 2008 as an Associate Director with responsibilities also including operations management and supervisory/compliance duties. Prior to this, he was with Citi-Smith Barney in the metro NYC area for seven years as a risk aversion specialist responsible for partnering with Sales Management and Citibank channel financial advisors to grow and protect their businesses. Peter has an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He also holds a life and health insurance license. Peter currently resides in the Rochester area.
