DeAnne Steele is the Market Director for the UBS Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo offices in San Diego. She leads with a singular focus: creating an environment where elite financial advisors can deliver exceptional client outcomes, grow enduring businesses, and do the best work of their careers.

With national experience spanning brokerage, fiduciary, and private banking platforms, DeAnne brings a deep understanding of how advisors build, scale, and transition sophisticated practices. She is known for partnering closely with advisors to align strategy, resources, and capital across the full spectrum of client needs—from wealth planning and investments to banking, lending, and alternatives. Her leadership approach emphasizes autonomy, intellectual rigor, and access to the institutional capabilities required to serve clients at the highest level.

At her core, DeAnne is a builder—of businesses, teams, and cultures. She thrives on solving complex challenges and is deeply committed to creating a collaborative, high-expectation environment that supports long-term advisor and client success.

DeAnne holds an MBA in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from UCLA. She is a CFA® charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of San Diego.

A San Diego resident since 2006, DeAnne lives with her husband and son and is the proud owner of a rescue dog. She serves on the board of The Old Globe and enjoys painting, attending local theater, and listening to live music.

Since January 2025, Laura Fetterman is the Administrative Officer for the Private Wealth offices within the UBS Pacific Desert Market.  Previously, Laura worked as the Executive Team Assistant where she supported UBS executive teams since 2005, interacting with managers and employees from all branches within the Market.

Her resourcefulness, organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities often make Laura the first go-to source for help or guidance to employees in the marketplace. Laura’s dependability, intellectual curiosity and ability to inject humor into any situation enhance her approachability and make her fun to work with.

She is FINRA-registered, holding Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University in Pennsylvania. In her spare time, Laura loves traveling, attending concerts and sampling delicious foods and wines with family and friends.
