DeAnne Steele is the Market Director for the Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo office of UBS in San Diego County. She is a dedicated and results-driven financial executive with national experience across brokerage, fiduciary and private banking platforms. She has a proven track record of driving business growth, leading, recruiting, and retaining high-performing teams, and providing comprehensive, tailored solutions to clients. She is an engaging speaker and writer on topics such as economic trends, portfolio construction, impact investing, belonging, and financial empowerment for women.

At her core, she enjoys building things—whether it’s a financial portfolio or a dynamic team—and thrives on solving challenges that help drive client, team and organizational success.

In her most recent roles, she led financial advisors across multiple offices for Merrill Lynch in Texas and California. Prior to Merrill, she spent 12 years at Bank of America Private Bank in various roles and geographies shaping business and investment strategy. DeAnne also co-managed a large cap growth mutual fund during her time in New York. She has written, co-authored and contributed to articles for various publications and has appeared on Reuters and Bloomberg Television.

DeAnne earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance, from UCLA Anderson School and a Bachelor of Arts, English and Political Science from UCLA. She has received the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations and is a member of the CFA Institute.

DeAnne, her husband and son have called San Diego home since 2006 and are the proud owners of a rescue dog named Falcon. In her free time, she enjoys painting, attending local plays and listening to live music.

Since January 2025, Laura Fetterman is the Administrative Officer for the Private Wealth offices within the UBS Pacific Desert Market.  Previously, Laura worked as the Executive Team Assistant where she supported UBS executive teams since 2005, interacting with managers and employees from all branches within the Market.

Her resourcefulness, organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities often make Laura the first go-to source for help or guidance to employees in the marketplace. Laura’s dependability, intellectual curiosity and ability to inject humor into any situation enhance her approachability and make her fun to work with.

She is FINRA-registered, holding Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University in Pennsylvania. In her spare time, Laura loves traveling, attending concerts and sampling delicious foods and wines with family and friends.
