John proudly serves as the Market Head for the Northern New Jersey Market that spans eight offices located in New Jersey. John plays an instrumental role in coordinating the delivery of the full range of the firm's global resources, which includes the implementation of our Wealth Management capabilities through delivery of "Advice. Beyond Investing."
John leads a Wealth Management business of more than 250 highly experienced Financial Advisors entrusted with client assets in excess of $60 billion. He began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse and Laventhol & Horwath and joined PaineWebber in 1991. John recently celebrated his 30th anniversary with UBS. He has experience serving as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, Complex Director, and Market Head.
Over his career, John has been named to the Firm's Leadership Council ten times. John has served as Co-Chair of the Leadership Advisory Committee, a key leadership role helping facilitate change throughout the field organization. In 2015, John received the Ed Connolly Leadership Award.
John has been a part of the American Corporate Partners Veteran Mentorship Program at UBS and also donates his time to support various charities including The Blessing Bag Brigade, Holiday Express and Bonds of Courage.
John, his wife, Hillary and their four children currently reside in Westfield, New Jersey.
As Market Director of the of the UBS Wealth Management Red Bank office, Michele serves as an advocate and partner to the financial advisors and team associates that deliver complete wealth management advice to our clients. Her top priority is to clear roadblocks to enable our financial advisors and team associates to focus on what they do best, helping clients achieve their personal and financial goals.
Prior to this role Michele was an Assistant Market Head for the Northern NJ Market supporting 8 offices in NJ with a focus on sales support.
Michele grew up in Red Bank, NJ and graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Accounting. She currently lives in Red Bank, NJ and enjoys trying new local restaurants, the jersey shore beaches and Siesta Key Florida.
Patricia is the Branch Manager of the Princeton and Wall NJ offices where she serves as an advocate and partner with Financial Advisors and service support teams to deliver a world class wealth management client experience. She partners with field leaders within the Market to help foster a culture of connectivity between the firm and the Financial Advisors. Her primary responsibility is to help drive organic growth with a focus on the tactics to execute on key products and services that lead to net new money gains in enhanced economic profit. She prides herself on bringing the best and deepest resources to serve the clients' and Financial Advisors' needs, both through the strength of UBS and the human capital of her leadership team.
Her prior experience includes multiple facets of branch administration as well as client and advisor engagement. Those roles include being the Assistant Market Head in the Park Avenue Market, NYC; Head of Teaming and Succession Planning; and Experienced Advisor Recruiting groups at UBS.
Patricia joined UBS in 2012 from Merrill Lynch, where she spent the prior 14 years leading Advisor Recruitment and Integration efforts for 7 years. In her career at Merrill Lynch, she held management positions where she was responsible for Recruiting Business Managements, FA Compensation and numerous field facing roles.
She lives in Manalapan, NJ with her husband Jeffrey and their 2 children, Aiden and Liam.
As Branch Manager and Executive Director of the Bergen County Office of UBS Wealth Management Americas, Adam is responsible for leading 125 amazing woman and men whose main goal is to provide an unparalleled client experience. Through his close professional and personal relationships with each and every Financial Advisor and Support Team Associate, Adam stops at nothing to help them run and grow their practice. Adam has spent his entire 22 year career at UBS, which he leverages every day to clear any roadblocks and get quick and effective decisions. Individual business coaching, revenue growth strategies, net new money generation ideas, business legacy planning and leveraging the global capabilities of UBS are just a few of the areas that he helps Financial Advisors and their clients with.
Prior to this role Adam was the Head of Business Management for the Eastern Division of UBS Wealth Management. In this role he was responsible for supporting all of the branch offices along the U.S. East Coast, from Maine to North Carolina. Financial services is all that he knows with past roles also including Assistant Branch Manager, Regional Administrative Officer, Head of Financial Advisor Recruit Onboarding and Equity/Options Trader. This has helped shape Adam's philosophy that a successful business starts with the right people, who have the right clients, running a holistic financial practice and creating opportunities for clients, employees and shareholders.
Adam holds FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 52, 55, 63 and 66 licenses in addition to licenses for Life, Accident and Health. Adam is a Bergen County native and grew up less than 10 miles away in Fort Lee. Adam graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Finance. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, tennis, flag football and running. He and his wife, an elementary school teacher, have two children and currently reside in Cranford, New Jersey.
Maura Poiesz is an Executive Director at UBS Financial Services and serves as the Complex Director for Warren and Short Hills, NJ offices. Maura believes the Financial Advisors and Client Associates in her office embody the three keys of UBS; Pillars, Principles, and Behaviors. The pillars of capital strength, efficiency and effectiveness, and risk management are the foundation for everything we do. The principles that UBS stands for as a firm are client focus, excellence, and sustainable performance. Lastly, the behaviors that UBS thrives on are integrity, collaboration, and challenge. Maura believes her branches successfully exemplifies the three keys of UBS.
Maura started as a trainee in 1993 with Prudential Securities in Danbury, CT. After 5 years as a Financial Advisor, she was asked to enter into the Management Trainee Program at Prudential. For the next two years, Maura was a National Training Officer in New York City. In May of 2000, Maura left Prudential Securities for Smith Barney and joined as an Assistant Branch Manager in their flagship branch in New York City. In May of 2010, she became the Branch Manager of Smith Barney in Little Falls, NJ and later promoted to run the Morristown, NJ branch. In May of 2012, she joined UBS to start the new Short Hills, NJ branch as the Producing Branch Manager. After 18 months in Short Hills, she was promoted and asked to be the Branch Manager of the Warren, NJ branch. She served on the UBS Leadership Advisory Council for 5 years. Maura earned a Master in Business Administration- Finance from Fordham University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, also from Fordham University. She maintains her Series: 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 securities licenses. In addition she is a New Jersey Life and Health insurance agent.
Maura resides in New Providence, NJ and her hobbies include soccer, reading and spending time with her husband David and their two daughters, Brooke and Gillian.
