Experience

As the Market Director, Bruce is responsible for leading the Financial Advisors and their teams in Minneapolis as well as the Bloomington business. He focuses on partnering with his Advisors and their teams to help them grow their practices, deliver the unparalleled resources of UBS to their clients, and create an outstanding client experience. 

Bruce grew up in New Jersey, graduated from the United States Naval Academy and went on to earn his MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1996, he served on active duty as a Naval Supply Officer for 5 years as well as 3 years in the Naval Reserves.

After 10 years as a Financial Advisor, he took on the Regional Development Officer role with the firm in 2005. Bruce and his family moved to Minneapolis in 2007 when he became the Assistant Branch Manager in the UBS Nicollet Mall office. In 2008 he was recruited by Morgan Stanley where he was a key member of the Complex management team for 5 years. After spending a year and a half as the Branch Manager of the Ameriprise office in Edina, MN, Bruce came back to UBS as the Assistant Market Head of the Minnesota – Northern Plains Market. He assumed the role of Market Director for the Minneapolis and Bloomington businesses in August of 2021.

He and his wife, Michiko, live in Plymouth, MN and have a son, Alex, currently attending college.

David joined UBS in September 2024 as an Administrative Manager for the Minneapolis area and Fargo branches. Prior to joining UBS, he was with Merrill Lynch for 27 years. There he served in various capacities including Market Client Relationship Manager, Business Manager, Administrative Manager and Performance Manager in Wealth Management Banking. He holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 9, 10 and 31 securities licenses.

David is a native of Dublin, Ireland and he resides in Saint Paul, MN and is married to a Minnesotan and has two sons that are both attending college. He is an active outdoors person and enjoys traveling in his spare time.

Thomas is the newest member to the UBS Bloomington team. Thomas recently made the career move to finance, joining the UBS team in April 2024 as the Branch Office Administrator.  He comes from a marketing and HR background with a degree in business marketing from Wartburg College. Thomas has a strong interest in finance and is passionate about providing excellent service to our clients and building lasting, impactful, and positive relationships.

Thomas and his wife Beryl live in south Minneapolis with their beloved dog, Milton, and cat, Oscar. He has a love of the outdoors; in his free time, you can find him mountain biking in Cuyuna, camping with friends in the boundary waters, spending time at his family’s cabin, sailing on Lake Harriet, or running the trails in Minneapolis.
