Howard Woo joined UBS Wealth Management in 2022 from Merrill Lynch where he served as the co-founding partner of his team while simultaneously serving in a senior leadership role. Howard is a founding member of Sequoia Partners at UBS. He has 24 years of experience in comprehensive wealth management and investments for ultra-affluent individuals and families, corporations, endowments, and foundations. He is responsible for equity manager construction, fixed income investing, alternative investments, and asset allocation.
Howard earned his degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine and is a native of Southern California. Howard holds the designation of Certified Private Wealth Advisor ® from the Investment & Wealth Institute and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ® from the College of Financial Planning. He holds series 7, 63, 65, 3,31, 9, 10, and insurance licenses.
Howard is also dedicated to serving as a volunteer in community building organizations such as Habitat for Humanity where he served as Treasurer of the Executive Board. He also served on the Board of Directors for the UCLA Scholarship Fund and The El Sol Foundation. He lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and two daughters and enjoys gardening, art design, traveling and spending time with the family on the weekends.

Toma joined UBS in November 2020 from Wells Fargo where she spent 2 years as an Administrative Manager. Prior to Wells Fargo, Toma was a Senior Risk Officer with Morgan Stanley for 20 years covering the Southern Orange County Market. Toma has a 35+ year career in the financial industry, starting with the Dean Witter Reynolds, who through its many name changes became Morgan Stanley. She has held numerous positions over her tenure from Client Service Associate, Financial Advisor, to numerous management positions in Risk Management and Operations. She prides herself on being an attentive listener who draws on her experience to find solutions that support both the advisors and the firm.
Toma is a resident of Irvine and enjoys meeting up with friends after work, so she makes use of the many wonderful restaurants we have in the area. Though she likes eating out, she also enjoys cooking, as well as gardening and DIY project in her free time. Toma loves to travel and has been to France, Italy (her favorite), Spain, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic and many cities in Mexico. The main places to still see on her bucket list include Greece, Ireland and New Zealand.
