Howard Woo joined UBS Wealth Management in 2022 from Merrill Lynch where he served as the co-founding partner of his team while simultaneously serving in a senior leadership role. Howard is a founding member of Sequoia Partners at UBS. He has 24 years of experience in comprehensive wealth management and investments for ultra-affluent individuals and families, corporations, endowments, and foundations. He is responsible for equity manager construction, fixed income investing, alternative investments, and asset allocation.

Howard earned his degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of California, Irvine and is a native of Southern California. Howard holds the designation of Certified Private Wealth Advisor ® from the Investment & Wealth Institute and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ® from the College of Financial Planning. He holds series 7, 63, 65, 3,31, 9, 10, and insurance licenses.

Howard is also dedicated to serving as a volunteer in community building organizations such as Habitat for Humanity where he served as Treasurer of the Executive Board. He also served on the Board of Directors for the UCLA Scholarship Fund and The El Sol Foundation. He lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and two daughters and enjoys gardening, art design, traveling and spending time with the family on the weekends.

Lynn Hunter serves as the Market Administrative Officer for the San Diego Market. Lynn has served in a variety of roles in the financial services industry, including Regional Business Initiatives Manager, Regional Operational Risk Manager, and Operations/Project Manager with Wells Fargo Private Bank,  Business Service Manager, Complex Administrator, and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley, Commodity Trading Advisor and Commodity Pool Operator for La Jolla Trading/West Coast Options Fund and chartist and research analyst for Dow Theory Letters.

Lynn focuses on developing collaboration within teams. She enjoys helping Wealth Management Teams to meet service excellence standards by focusing on the importance of enhanced client-centric service, and by staying well-informed on the industry as it changes. A relationship-driven manager, she believes strongly in coaching people to find their strengths, identifying challenges and opportunities to grow, and ongoing mentoring. Very comfortable in the digital world, Lynn enjoys helping others move forward with new technologies, recognizing their value and how to manage interpersonal relationships using them, while at the same time respecting the roots and traditions of the service business. She works closely with team members to bring them up to the next level while running their businesses efficiently, effectively, and confidently.

Lynn was raised in La Jolla, California, and is a graduate of La Jolla High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego and holds FINRA Series licenses 7, 9, 10, 66; NFA Series 3; and California Insurance License #0D05717.  Lynn lives in La Jolla with her husband Jim, and enjoys the coastal lifestyle, kayaking, hiking, gardening and the practice of yoga and meditation.

Toma joined UBS in November 2020 from Wells Fargo where she spent 2 years as an Administrative Manager.  Prior to Wells Fargo, Toma was a Senior Risk Officer with Morgan Stanley for 20 years covering the Southern Orange County Market.  Toma has a 35+ year career in the financial industry, starting with the Dean Witter Reynolds, who through its many name changes became Morgan Stanley.  She has held numerous positions over her tenure from Client Service Associate, Financial Advisor, to numerous management positions in Risk Management and Operations.  She prides herself on being an attentive listener who draws on her experience to find solutions that support both the advisors and the firm.   

Toma is a resident of Irvine and enjoys meeting up with friends after work, so she makes use of the many wonderful restaurants we have in the area.  Though she likes eating out, she also enjoys cooking, as well as gardening and DIY project in her free time.  Toma loves to travel and has been to France, Italy (her favorite), Spain, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic and many cities in Mexico.  The main places to still see on her bucket list include Greece, Ireland and New Zealand.

Annette has most recently acted as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate and Pacific Desert Market Team Associate Coach, in the Carmel Valley and Riverside branches. In this capacity, she has worked closely with HNW clients, Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor Teams. Additionally, Annette spearheaded the Team Associate Project Roundtable Initiative over the last two years, which focuses on the importance of Peer-to-Peer network development and sharing of best practices, as well as providing COSIMA/Negative News screenings for the Market.  

Annette joined UBS in June 2015, following her move to the Inland Empire/Riverside CA area from decades in Los Angeles.  She has a 25+ year career in the financial industry, starting with an institutional firm of Hanifen, Imhoff while in Denver after college.  Annette has worked with municipal and institutional advisors as well as retail brokerage firms from Prudential Securities to Deutsche Bank.   She completed her B.S. degree at California State University, Northridge and has her Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 66 licenses and a California Insurance License. 

In her free time, Annette enjoys spending time with her husband Ken, a hotrod enthusiast, as well as sailing to Catalina Island on their sailboat docked in Marina Del Rey.   Annette loves to travel to Queens and Long Island to see her husband’s family, and traveled to Germany as a child frequently to visit her father’s family. Annette and Ken have four adult children combined, and a crazy Australian Labradoodle named Kiwi, who keeps her busy outside of work!
