Experience

Michael is a Director at UBS and the Branch Manager for the UBS Wealth Management Americas offices in Idaho. He graduated magna cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in international economics and Spanish, and later graduated with an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University. He started in the wealth management industry as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 2005 and joined UBS in 2009. Prior to his current role as Director and Branch Manger, Michael held various operational, administrative and compliance management positions covering UBS offices in Nevada, Utah, Montana, Washington, Alaska and Idaho.

Michael is passionate about and actively supports international social efforts. Previously he spent a year volunteering at an orphanage for street boys in Buenos Aires, Argentina and more recently traveled to East Africa to support the construction and development of a rural hospital and boarding school. He enjoys international travel, particularly in Latin America, as well as outdoor sports including skiing, rock climbing and riverboarding. He resides in Boise, Idaho with his wife Sara and three sons Trevor, Miles and Bryson.
