Jad and his team work to help their colleagues achieve their goals in an environment that is supportive, collegial and marked by excellence. While leading the firm's businesses in Northern New England, Jad tries to spend as much of his time as possible focused on his "Why" – "Fostering a culture of passion and empathy so that people feel good about who they are and what they do." Above all else, Jad believes that culture is the most important component to employee satisfaction, and employee satisfaction is the most important component to client satisfaction. With this premise at the forefront of the management team's leadership efforts, the group strives to foster people before business – and good results seem to follow.
Jad developed this "culture first" approach over the course of his 25 year career. His previous roles include Branch Manager for the UBS offices in Bethesda MD and Columbus OH, as well as Head of Field Integration during the firm's acquisition of Piper Jaffray. Prior to joining UBS he held various management positions at Prudential Securities and was a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch.
Jad is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and he has an MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University. In addition, he has attended several executive education programs including Harvard's High Potentials Leadership Program and the Authentic Leadership Development Program, Stanford's Interpersonal Dynamics for High Performing Executives, and the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School.
He is a past president of the Yarmouth Football Program. He is also a current volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys supporting members of his office in their fundraising efforts for various causes including Tri for a Cure and Susan G. Komen. He is also a Board Member for Make a Wish Foundation of Maine and Chairman of the Board for Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Southern Maine.
For over 20 years, Patrick has been helping Financial Advisors grow their businesses. Today he is the Associate Market Executive for the UBS Northern New England business. In this role, Patrick serves as a leader to the UBS Financial Advisors and support staff in the Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire offices. His goal is to cultivate a collaborative environment so Financial Advisors can have a bigger impact in the lives of clients.
Patrick began his career with Scudder Investments as Manager of Sales Support and Client Services in their Chicago office. After serving in various roles at Scudder, Patrick relocated to New England in 2005 and spent 4 years at Smith Barney as an operations manager.
Patrick joined the UBS team in 2009 and where he ran the Operations group for the Northern New England Complex. In 2013 he was promoted to Complex Administrative Manager where he led the supervision and support teams. Patrick's groups focused on providing highest level of operational and administrative support to meet the needs of each Financial Advisor's unique business.
Patrick graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Management and currently holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 66 and 24 licenses. Patrick and his wife Meredith are avid skiers, and enjoy spending time on the lake with family and friends.
Jeff began his career in the financial services industry in 2004. He spent the first 9 years of his career at a competing firm working as a Client Service Associate for a successful wealth management team in coastal Connecticut. Shortly after joining UBS in 2013, he was presented with an opportunity to join the management team in Northern New England and eagerly took on the role. In his current position as Administrative Officer, Jeff’s primary responsibility is leading and supporting the Client Service Associate team while striving to provide UBS clients with the best possible service.
Other than a 9-year stint in Connecticut, Jeff is a lifelong Maine resident and currently resides in Kennebunk with his wife Laura, daughter Simone, son Nate, and dog Maui. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, cooking, lifting weights and sitting by a campfire.
