Brendan Graham is an Executive Director and the Market Executive for the Mid-Atlantic Market at UBS. He is responsible for 11 branch offices and currently oversees approximately 255 financial advisors. The business encompasses the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth segments in Washington, D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. He is based in Washington, D.C.
In his role as Market Executive, Brendan brings together the firm’s best-in-class resources, talent, and capabilities to create and sustain success for clients in the Americas. By combining the client focus of a boutique firm with the footprint, strength, and expertise of the world’s only truly global wealth manager, UBS is committed to being the office of choice for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and the financial advisors who serve them.
Brendan’s career at UBS began in 2012 in the firm’s Graduate Talent Program. After two years of rotating through various areas of the firm, he took on his first assignment as a strategist on the Private Wealth Management Leadership Team. Four years later, he began his field management career as an Assistant Market Head, where he served for two years before becoming Branch Manager of the Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Hunt Valley, and Charlotte PWM offices. He was appointed Market Director of the Washington, D.C. wealth management business in 2023, where he was responsible for leading Washington, D.C. Wealth Management and co-leading Private Wealth Management as the Market Director.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Brendan graduated magna cum laude with honors in business from Tulane University. He holds his Series 7, Series 66, Series 9, Series 10, and Series 3 licenses with FINRA. Outside of the office, Brendan currently serves as the chair of the finance committee for Washington Project for the Arts, a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1975 and dedicated to supporting artists in the Washington, D.C. area. He is also the national executive sponsor for the UBS Young Professionals Network.
Brendan and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Bethesda, Maryland, and enjoy playing tennis, golf, reading, and trying out new restaurants in their spare time.
Shari Winkelman is the Associate Market Executive of the Mid-Atlantic Market. She has over 30 years of industry experience focused on Financial Advisor growth, business development, client service and employee engagement. She aspires to reflect the principles of servant leadership to ensure Financial Advisors and Client Associates are confident in knowing they have the support, training and access they need to the global platform of products, services, education, research and information UBS provides.
Mark is responsible for leading Washington DC and Annapolis Wealth Management, where he helps navigate the firm to connect advisors and their clients to world class resources and solutions. Originally from the DMV area, Mark studied Business Administration and Economics at GMU and has worked with UBS in various Wealth Management leadership roles for the last 18 years. While many Wealth Management firms try to fit all clients into a box, Mark believes in creating a boutique experience, allowing Advisors to build a circle of capabilities around each client based on their unique goals and perspectives. Mark lives in Annapolis with his children Grady (8) and Scarlett (6) and can often be found boating, fishing and biking in and around the Chesapeake Bay.
Chris comes to us from Raymond James’ Washington, DC office. As Branch Operations Manager, Chris was a part of the supervisory team working on both administrative and risk initiatives in the Chesapeake Complex. Chris began his career over 20 years ago in back-office operations with Bank of America. Prior to Ray J, Chris spent over six years in the Legal and Compliance division at Morgan Stanley.
Chris is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC where he competed in both Basketball and Cross-Country in the NCAA Division II ranks. Chris credits teamwork, work ethic, and perseverance to his athletic upbringing.
Branch Office Administrator – Mid-Atlantic Market
Saxon is the Branch Office Administrator and Technology Liaison for the Mid-Atlantic Market.
Saxon graduated from American University where she received her B.S. in Business, majoring in Business & Entertainment with a specialization in Audio Technology.
Saxon has lived in Tokyo, Japan for most of her life, but has been living in Washington, DC since 2019. She enjoys music, both listening to and recording, and traveling in her free time.
Jeremy Sitnick currently serves in a Client Associate capacity as the Market Technology Liaison for the Mid Atlantic Market. In his current role, Jeremy is a direct resource for over 400 employees across 4 states, including the District of Columbia. Jeremy works closely with senior leadership, financial advisors, and associates, gaining industry knowledge and experience across various departments within the firm.
Jeremy started his career at UBS in 2022, interning for the Northeast Private Wealth Management Head, based out of the Philadelphia, PA office. The following year, he was asked to relocate to the Washington, DC office where he has since served in various capacities, primarily supporting the branch and market management teams.
A proud “double eagle” from American University in Washington, DC, Jeremy holds both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from American University’s School of Public Affairs. He is currently working towards obtaining his industry designations.
Jeremy currently resides in Washington, DC. Outside of the office, you can find him going for a run within our nation’s capital, spending quality time with friends, or passionately cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.
