Experience

Michael Bonomo is Senior Market Director for Private Wealth Management in UBS’s San Francisco Market. He is known for partnering closely with advisors and clients, helping them navigate complexity, access the full capabilities of the firm, and pursue long-term growth with confidence. Before joining UBS, he led the San Francisco and Seattle markets for Morgan Stanley’s West Coast Private Wealth Management business.

Michael began his career in 2007 as a Financial Advisor at A.G. Edwards before joining Merrill Lynch, where he was promoted to a producing sales manager role in 2012. In 2013, he joined Morgan Stanley as Associate Complex Manager in Midtown Manhattan, where he built a reputation for helping advisors grow their businesses, solve complex challenges, and deepen client relationships. He later led Morgan Stanley’s Dallas Park Cities branch, helping transform the branch into a top-performing office, and in 2021 was selected to lead many of the firm’s top advisors in the Bay Area and Seattle. Throughout his leadership roles, he has served as a trusted connector between advisors and the firm’s broader capabilities, with a continued focus on helping clients benefit from UBS’s global resources and expertise.

A Missouri native, Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and holds an MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. He serves on the board of St. Matthew’s Catholic School in San Mateo and is a member of the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club and the Olympic Club. He lives on the Peninsula with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, skiing, and combat sports.

Philip serves as the Market Administrative Officer for the San Francisco Market. He has been with UBS since 2016 and has over 18 years of management experience in the financial industry.

Throughout his financial career he has held various roles including Complex Operations Manager, Compliance Specialist, and Complex Supervisory Officer.  In his current role as Market Administrative Officer, Phil is responsible for managing the Market Team Associate Staff, as well Business Manager across the Market. 

Phil enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth sports. He is a graduate of Heald College with a degree in Business Administration. He holds his Series 3, 7, 66, 9 and 10 securities licenses.

Barbara serves as the Market Supervisory Officer for the San Francisco Market. She has been with UBS since 2004 and has over 16 years of management experience in the financial industry.

Throughout her financial career she has held various roles including Operations Manager, Administrative Manager, Associate Market Executive and Client Experience Director.  In her current role as Market Supervisory Officer, Barbara is responsible for managing compliance and business risk, as well as implementation and education of firm policies and procedures across the Market. 

Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, dabbling in DIY projects and gardening. She is a graduate of Sierra College with a degree in Business Administration and General Science. She holds her Series 3, 7, 66, 9 and 10 securities licenses and is Insurance licensed.
