Robert currently serves as the Market Executive in the Pacific Northwest Market for UBS.  In this role, he collaborates with his branch managers, financial advisors and staff to drive business growth across Pacific Northwest.

Professional History

Prior to his current position, Robert was Dallas Fort Worth Region Market Director since 2023, and the Silicon Valley Market Head from June 2016 - January 2020 and was Branch Manager of the Carmel Valley, San Diego branch from Sept 2011- June 2016. He was named Branch Manager of the year in 2012 and ranked #1 in his branch revenue group for 3 straight years.

Robert has been with UBS entities for over 30 years. He started at PaineWebber in 1983, working as a Financial Advisor for 11 years before moving into management roles in the home office, regional and divisional roles until 2005.  He moved on to the Branch Manager role for the Colorado Springs Complex (including Pueblo and Durango, CO) for 3 years and the Resident Branch Manager role in Boston for 3 1/2 years.

Education and Personal

Robert holds a degree in Finance from Iona College in New Rochelle NY. He also holds the CFP® and CIMA® designations. Robert is very active in the local community with the Rotary, Wounded Warriors and The Humane Society. He also helped to lead his employees at UBS in the local community with underprivileged children at the Monarch School and Junior Achievement. Robert is married to his wife Sarah and they currently reside in Seattle, Washington.

Alex is an Associate Market Executive in the Pacific Northwest Market and supports advisors and associates through growth initiatives, development, and cultural events. He joined UBS in 2019 as a Private Mortgage Banker based in Dallas, Texas, then transitioned to the Wealth Management Banker for the Los Angeles Private Wealth Market before joining the Pacific Northwest Leadership team in 2024.

Alex was born and raised in Pennsylvania and attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. In his free time, Alex is passionate about all things fitness, enjoying different types of foods, watching his favorite sports teams disappoint him, and hanging with his golden retriever, Gryff.

Maria has been with UBS for 3 years and currently leads the Supervisory Team in the Pacific Northwest Market.  She has a passion for partnership which she feels is a cornerstone for supporting her markets. She previously worked at Hilltop Securities and Charles Schwab over her 24 years in the industry in a multitude of roles focused on client and field support.

Maria has enjoyed many aspects of the industry including operational management, supervision and business development but enjoys working with advisors best.

Outside of the office, Maria looks for opportunities to serve her community and spend time enjoying the outdoors.

Alina Spink is the Executive Assistant for Robert Giordano and the Pacific Northwest Market. Her responsibilities consist of coordinating schedules, managing confidential information, facilitating market events and ensuring efficient office operations. Alina joined UBS in 2021 and is currently studying for her Series 7 license.

 Alina lives in Seattle WA with her dog Sebastian and is a certified scuba diver. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Heather joined the team in 2024 as an Administrative Officer for Seattle in the Pacific Northwest Market. Prior to joining UBS, Heather worked for D.A. Davidson. She currently holds her Series 7, 66, 9/10 and Insurance license.

Heather is from Montana and currently loves living in the PNW. Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis, pottery, skiing, and supporting Liverpool F.C.
