Weisner recently became the Market Director in the Barrington, Northbrook, and Oakbrook, IL branches in 2025. In his role, he helps deliver the open architecture of the firm to the financial advisors and teams to help them grow their business and serve their clients, all while overseeing the day-to-day management of the three branches.  Prior to this role, he served as the Market Director in the Las Vegas area, an Associate Market Executive for the Greater New England Market, and has also held numerous managerial roles within UBS Home Office. He currently holds his FINRA SIE, Series 3, 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses. He also holds his Certified Exit Planner and Accredited Asset Management Advisor Designations.

Weisner grew up in Berwyn, IL and attended Morton West high school. He graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and minor in Economics while also being a member of the men’s basketball program where he served as captain. He currently lives in the Chicagoland area and enjoys spending his free time playing pickup basketball or golfing when the weather allows it.

Kerry is currently Administrative Officer for Northbrook, Oakbrook and Barrington offices in the Midwest Market, and handles all Administrative responsibilities including managing and leading our Client Service Associates. Kerry brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined us from Morgan Stanley in downtown Chicago, where she held a similar position in one of the largest headcount branches in the country (235 employees). She joined Smith Barney, in 2006, and became part of the eventual joint venture with MS.

Kerry received an outstanding education from The Ohio State University Columbus Ohio. Her leadership skills blossomed early as she captained the Buckeye tennis team for three of her four years on the team.

Kerry began her professional career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) working with commodities, options and S&P traders. She traded bonds off the floor for a few years before moving to an office manager position with a proprietary trading firm where she spent seven years before joining Smith Barney.

Kerry lives in Northbrook with her husband, Andy, and their three children. She enjoys sports, including all things Chicago. In addition to being an active mother and sports fan, Kerry likes to travel and read.

Edward (Ed) Samano is Director and Supervisory Officer for the Metro Chicago Market. Ed brings a rich history of experience and wisdom to the market. Most recently, Ed served as Morgan Stanley's Complex Risk Officer at their 70 West Madison Chicago office.

Ed has spent 35 years in the financial services business. His tenure includes activity as a foreign currency options broker, at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's Index and Options Market, and as an independent trader on the Chicago Board of Trade. After his trading days, Ed joined AXA Advisors in Northbrook as an Investment Advisor Rep, ironically in our current building at 5 Revere Drive! At AXA, Ed ultimately became the Controls Director for more than 210 Advisors. In 2013, Ed joined Morgan Stanley's as a Complex Risk Officer.

Rounding out Ed's resume, is his experience with both internal and FINRA audits. Ed has a BA and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. He resides in Park Ridge with his wife Donna and five children. He has lived in Park Ridge for 20 years. In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, biking, swimming and watching his children play sports.
