Mike Mimick is the Midwest Market Executive of the Client Advisory Group for Wealth Management USA. He is responsible for domestic business within the Midwestern states of Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. He oversees over 500 Financial Advisors and support staff who manage $75 billion in client assets. Focused on providing a full range of solutions to address client needs, Mike’s vision for the Midwest Market is to be the firm of choice for Wealth Management clients and advisors alike in the communities we serve.
Mike joined UBS in 2005 and has held prior leadership roles with UBS in Colorado, Nevada and Utah. After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BS in Finance and Banking, Mike held a variety of leadership roles, including financial advisor, in the financial services industry before joining UBS. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Investment & Wealth Institute and University of Pennsylvania—The Wharton School.
Helping his community is an integral part of Mike’s life. He is a past recipient of the UBS Community Involvement award, which focuses on working with UBS’s strategic nonprofit partners to give back to the community. Mike’s own involvement with charitable organizations includes mentoring our service members and veterans through American Corporate Partners and volunteering for Ronald McDonald House, City Union Mission, the Great Plains SPCA and Harvesters Community Food Network.
Michael and his wife, Dawn, live in Leawood, Kansas, and have two adult children. Mike is an avid golfer, enjoys fitness, is a passionate University of Nebraska Athletics fan and likes American history novels. He and Dawn enjoy traveling to Colorado and Napa Valley together.
Mark is the Midwest Market Associate Market Executive for UBS Wealth Management USA. Mark focuses on supporting market wide initiatives and sales practices while overseeing the Leawood, KS branch. Prior to joining UBS in 2022, Mark spent 12 years at Ivy Investments in various sales leadership roles, including Head of Internal Sales.
Mark is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65 licenses. Mark graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Mark and his wife, Haley, live in Shawnee, KS and have two young children, Miller and Dillon. In his spare time, Mark enjoys fitness, planning vacations, and watching the Kansas Jayhawks. His family enjoys hanging out with their two Boston terriers, Wally and Dawson.
Brianna is the Associate Market Executive and Market Business Manager of the Midwest Market for UBS Financial Services Inc. The market consists of 310 Financial Advisors located across nine states: Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota servicing the wealth management needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Brianna has spent her entire career at UBS, starting in the London office in 2012 as the Learning and Development Analyst focused on collaboration between Wealth Management, Investment Bank and Asset Management. Since then, she was the Campus Recruiting and Graduate Training Program Coordinator which involved recruiting junior talent from top universities and assisting them in the career development within UBS Wealth Management. Most recently, Brianna was a Senior Events Specialist for UBS Wealth Management and curating world-class events for our clients, incentive trips for our top financial advisors, and conferences for the firm.
Brianna received her International M.B.A. from the St. Mary’s University Twickenham in London, UK, and in partnership with Naresuan University in Bangkok, TH. She also graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Currently she holds her FINRA Series 7, 9, 10 licenses; NASSA Series 66 license; and Life, Health and Accident Insurance Licenses.
Brianna grew up in Denver, CO, and currently lives in Minneapolis, MN, with her partner, Eric, and their two dogs, Turbo and Rider. She has also lived in Jersey City, NJ, Bangkok, TH, and London, UK. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, Broadway shows, concerts, and hiking. Brianna has also sky-dived three times, bungee jumped once, and goes whitewater rafting.
As the Market Director, Bruce is responsible for leading the Financial Advisors and their teams in Minneapolis as well as the Bloomington business. He focuses on partnering with his Advisors and their teams to help them grow their practices, deliver the unparalleled resources of UBS to their clients, and create an outstanding client experience.
Bruce grew up in New Jersey, graduated from the United States Naval Academy and went on to earn his MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1996, he served on active duty as a Naval Supply Officer for 5 years as well as 3 years in the Naval Reserves.
After 10 years as a Financial Advisor, he took on the Regional Development Officer role with the firm in 2005. Bruce and his family moved to Minneapolis in 2007 when he became the Assistant Branch Manager in the UBS Nicollet Mall office. In 2008 he was recruited by Morgan Stanley where he was a key member of the Complex management team for 5 years. After spending a year and a half as the Branch Manager of the Ameriprise office in Edina, MN, Bruce came back to UBS as the Assistant Market Head of the Minnesota – Northern Planes Market. He assumed the role of Complex Director for the Minneapolis-Bloomington Complex in August of 2021.
He and his wife, Michiko, live in Plymouth, MN with their teenage son, Alex.
With more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bob joined UBS in 2008. Bob is a director responsible for helping financial advisors to grow their business practices in the Chicago Tower Market. This encompasses transactional and investment linked products across all asset classes as well as hedging and trading through a wealth management approach. In addition, Bob sources partnering opportunities to leverage the firm's capabilities; which deliver institutional products to very sophisticated high-net-worth clients.
Bob has been with UBS for over 10 years and is the Branch Manager of the Madison, WI office. He has played a vital role in growing and retaining employee culture across the firm, transforming the Chicago Tower into a leading Market, by coaching his financial advisors, support staff and management team to serve their clients to the best of their abilities. His leadership is critical to sustaining long-term growth and retaining the industries best talent. Bob is well known for his networking and collaborative success by working across the firm to take full advantage of our capabilities, ensuring the world’s largest wealth manager continues to deliver the excellence our client expect. He is working to actively move decision making closer to the client for a successful delivery of WMA's new, more efficient operating model.
Bob is actively involved at the Ravinia Festival as an Executive Board member of the Ravinia Associates raising funds and increasing awareness for Chicago Public Schools music programs. Bob consistently receives the Global Community Award for his outstanding contributions to society in partnership with UBS Community Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility Americas. As a globally recognized leader in volunteer efforts, Bob promotes the long-term intention of UBS, to be a responsible corporate citizen. Over the years his efforts have achieved demonstrable, recognized and sustained impact in their communities.
I was named the Market Director for UBS's Oklahoma offices in 2022 and with more than 23 years of wealth management leadership experience, I serve as an advocate and partner to Financial Advisors and Team Associates to deliver world class wealth management advice and client experience for our clients.
In partnering with leaders throughout the firm, I help foster a culture of connectivity between the firm and the Financial Advisors with a primary responsibility to help drive organic growth and add talented individuals to the Oklahoma offices. My diverse background in the industry helps me navigate all the capabilities of UBS and ensure the advisors and support teams have not only the best but the maximum resources to serve the needs of clients, both through the strength of UBS and the timely responsiveness of the local leadership team to implement solutions and resolve issues.
I am an Oklahoma native and support various non-profits having previously founded an animal rescue group as well as serving as the event chair for the Tulsa Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I have a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and am Prosci® Change Management certified.
My husband, Brent and I reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and attending concerts. We love scheduling trips around beautiful destinations and great restaurants plus spending time with family and friends.
James began his career in the financial services industry in 2009 at AXA Advisors. A graduate of Augustana College, James moved to UBS in 2013. With his energetic drive, he brings a unique insurance background, along with wealth management abilities to the firm. James takes great pride in his personal touch and ability to help clients in many aspects of their financial world.
A native of Sioux Falls, James lives in Sioux Falls with his wife Elizabeth, and their two children, son Benjamin, and daughter Avery. James is a devoted father, and loves every moment he can spend outdoors and traveling with his family.
Away from the office, James has been involved with a group of musicians as a singer/songwriter since the age of 12. He, and his fellow musicians, have traveled around the country bringing their music that has resonated with people of all ages. James, an avid golfer, can also be found competing in many tournaments throughout the summer.
James holds FINRA Series 6,7, 63, and 65.
Since 2012, Justin has held roles in field leadership at UBS. In 2021, he was named the Complex Director for the St. Paul and Great Plains Complex for UBS. In this role, Justin is responsible for the businesses in St. Paul, MN, St. Cloud, MN, Alexandria, MN, Fargo, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, West Des Moines, IA and Davenport, IA. Justin has also served as the Branch Manager for Wayzata, MN, St. Paul, MN and as the Assistant Complex Director for the Minnesota Complex. Now in his current role as Market Director, Justin oversees the Wayzata, MN, St. Paul, MN, St. Cloud, MN and Fargo, ND offices.
Prior to 2012, Justin held various roles at UBS and predecessor firms -- ranging from leading home office sales support teams, leading technology and practice management training teams, and serving as regional business analyst. With this wide range of experience over his 25-plus year career, Justin is able to listen to advisors and their teams as they share the vision for their practices. Equally as important, he connects teams to the right people from around the firm in order to bring the best of UBS to clients and advisor practices.
Justin earned his B.S. degree in Mathematics and Economics from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Stephanie, and two sons. Outside of work, Justin spends much of his summer and fall coaching for the Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association. When not coaching or watching a ball game, he enjoys traveling with his family, running (two-time marathon finisher) and recently began taking guitar lessons.
Steve Michael is the Executive & Market Director of the UBS’ Kansas City & Wichita Offices; responsible for domestic business emanating out of Kansas City & Wichita, overseeing teams of Financial Advisors & Team Associates who manage a combined total of over $7.6 Billion in client assets, focused on leveraging UBS’ competitive advantage, its global posture, perspective & positioning, and its products, services & platforms to deliver a full range of solutions and the very best in Wealth Management for their Clients.
Steve has been with UBS since April of 2021 after having served 32 years in the Army of the United States, retiring as a General Officer. Over the years he has earned a reputation as a growth catalyst & motivator, adept at leading & inspiring collaborative teams, positioning organizations for excellence and peak productivity. Steve believes in developing & investing in people. Throughout his career, he has created trust-based, inter-connected organizations that leverage the talent and abilities of each individual to improve efficiency, accountability & outcomes. Steve holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy, was the 2012-13 Senior Service College Fellow to Columbia University, and has his Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 registrations.
Steve believes a life lived in service to others is a life well lived. Whether it be serving Soldiers and their families, our communities and our Clients, he is consistently looking for opportunities to give back and forward.
Steve is married to the former Sandra Stanford of Georgetown Guyana. They are proud parents of Vaughn, Shane, Sean and Chanel. Steve enjoys reading, both history and fiction and is a New York Yankee and Giants fan; albeit, with himself and Sandra living in Kansas City, Missouri, they have become Chiefs and Royals fans (as long as they are not playing the Giants or the Yankees). Steve and Sandra enjoy traveling the Midwest, learning about its history and meeting its great people.
Tom began his career with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. in 1990, and joined Smith Barney Shearson in 1993. He began his manager career in 2004 as a Producing Sales Manager at Smith Barney Shearson. It was during his time as Producing Sales Manager that Tom discovered his passion for management. In 2006 Tom joined UBS as the Branch Manager of the Davenport UBS branch. In 2017 Tom was promoted to run the Iowa business for UBS.
A graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance, Tom has also earned Series 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities. Tom splits his time in West Des Moines, and Davenport.
He is a member of Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines. He has two daughters and one grandchild. Morgan lives in West Des Moines, and McKenzie lives in Davenport, along with her first child and Tom’s first grandson. So, whether Tom is working in West Des Moines or Davenport, he always has one of his daughters nearby. Tom is actively involved with the youth of his community and has coached softball, volleyball, and baseball for the last 25 years. He has served on the advisory board for the Davenport YMCA, and is a supporter of Family Resources. He enjoys working out, spending time with his daughters and grandson, and playing golf.
Gary is the Executive Director and Market Director of the UBS offices in Clayton and Chesterfield Missouri. Having been in the financial industry for over 38 years, he's held a number of roles starting with being a Financial Advisor for 17, and Management positions thereafter. He knows his Advisors and their priorities, and prides himself in supporting their success in many ways.
Gary often likens the financial services industry to another of his passions - the sports world. He points to parallels like the highs, the lows, the challenges and mental preparation. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 9, and 10 licenses, and insurance licenses.
He earned a MBS from Lindenwood University after receiving his undergraduate degree in Business from Central Methodist University in 1977. Gary has also served on the board of a number of St. Louis charities; he was a past President of the Board of Governors at the Missouri Athletic Club, a past member of the University of Missouri - St. Louis International Business Advisory Board, and a former board member of St. Louis AAA Amateur Blues and Hockey Board of Directors.
Gary lives in St. Louis with his wife Julie, and has three grown children.
Theresa has been in the financial industry for 39 years. 33 of those years at UBS. She has had the opportunity to work in a branch, Region, Market, Division, and Home Office settings through her tenure. Some of you may remember her as the Heartland Region Admin Officer before we changed the structure to Divisions. Most recently, Theresa represented our Administrative Team as the Central Division Admin Officer and just recently stepped into the new Midwest Market Admin Officer role. She has been married to husband Bob for 35 years and has 3 adult children and 4 grandsons. (Eventually hoping for a girl!) Family is her priority and when there is time, she enjoys getting out to golf and spending weekends with family at their lake house.
Mary began her career at Norwest Investment Services, now Wells Fargo. After earning her Series 7 and 63 she transitioned to Prudential Securities. That move would eventually bring her to a new build new office location for Piper Jaffray in Edina, MN. Piper Jaffray was acquired by UBS Financial and Mary has been with the company ever since.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A.A. in English Education she has also earned her Series 9, 10, 31, 65 as well as licenses for life, health, variable life, and variable annuity. Mary offices in the UBS Minneapolis location.
Mary has two children and a darling Granddaughter. She resides in New Brighton, MN with her husband, Kent, and son Sam.
Marit joined the financial services industry in 2017 and she has been with UBS since 2022. She currently serves as Administrative Manager for the Wayzata, MN, St. Cloud, MN, Alexandria, MN, and Fargo, ND offices.
Prior to 2017, Marit spent 12 years in leadership roles in the food service and retail industries. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed coaching and developing her teams toward achieving their highest potential, and she continues to pursue that passion with UBS. In addition to her supervisory duties, Marit provides tailored coaching for Wealth Management teams on building efficiencies into their business routines and supporting each individual’s professional development.
Marit earned her B.A. degree in Theater Arts from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. She holds FINRA Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 licenses. In her spare time, Marit enjoys spending time with her husband and children in their garden, hiking in the many regional parks in the Twin Cities, trying new recipes, and finding ever-more-challenging puzzles to complete.
Kara joined UBS in 2022 as an Administrative Manager for the Midwest Market. She leads our Minneapolis and Bloomington team of client service and support associates, partnering as a coach and mentor.
Kara has spent most of her professional career in the financial services industry. Beginning at Dean Witter Reynolds in 1986, she has held several roles over the years in management, supervision, compliance surveillance, and client service. Residing in Eagan with husband Richard, she enjoys traveling, art, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Kara holds several security licenses (Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 66) along with a Minnesota life and health insurance license.
Dana has been with UBS for over 15 years. She joined the firm as an Intern the summer before her Senior year in college. After graduating, Dana joined UBS full time as a Branch Service Associate. Over the years, she has held various roles in both Operations and Administration and is currently a Branch Administrative Manager. Dana graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in Biology and minor in Business. She holds the series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65. Dana lives in Cottage Grove, MN with her husband, Tom and two boys, Connor and Evan. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and reading a good book.
David began my career in the financial industry in 1983 with R. Rowland and Company. In 1985, he moved to a Communications/Client Services Manager position with RBC Correspondent Services. From 2000 to 2010, he served as Branch Operations Manager at UBS. In 2014, David earned the Certified Financial Planner designation. He has a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University. David currently has 4 grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson, Mavery, and Jameson and another baby girl due this coming May.
Heather joined as Administrative Manager of the Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK offices in May 2022. She brings to the firm over 20 years industry experience. Heather was most recently with Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Management Associate for a Private Wealth Management team serving ultra-high net worth clients. She previously worked at Wells Fargo Advisors as Complex Operations Manager for 13 years. Heather’s well-rounded knowledge of the business in both management and operational service give her a deep understanding of client service excellence and how important a financial advisor’s relationship is with each client. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Finance. Heather loves a good challenge and finding a solution for both internal and external clients. She enjoys traveling as much as possible, reading and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
Jenna was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and eventually went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. After college, she ran a business for several years in Lincoln and then eventually moved to Omaha, NE in 2018 where she began her career in finance. Jenna worked with TD Ameritrade for a few years before coming over to UBS in November of 2021 to be the Admin Manager for Lincoln and Omaha! She’s currently still living in Omaha with her dog Ronix. In her free time, she enjoys golfing (when it’s warm enough), spending time with her family and her many nieces and nephews, and relaxing with the pup!
Amie has been in the wealth management industry since 2004, starting as a Client Associate with Merrill Lynch. After spending 15 years in a client facing capacity, she shifted to a leadership position and now covers the states of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska as Market Administrative Officer. Amie is passionate about serving in her community and church. As a mom of an Autistic child, she is especially passionate about connecting with other special needs parents and kids. Outside of work, she can usually be found spending time outside with her family, cooking out with neighbors, or finding a new hiking trail to explore.
Sheri started in the business in 1993 at Dean Witter as a Sales Assistant. She then took a position at Piper Jaffray in 1997 as Reg. Sales Assistant, Branch Administrative Supervisory, and Interim Branch Manager in 2006 during the acquisition of Piper Jaffray to UBS. During the acquisition to UBS, she moved to her current role as Market Supervisory Officer. She holds her Series 7, 9/10, 63, 31 and Life/Health Insurance licenses. Sheri received her BS degree in Finance from Winona State University. She is married and lives in Southeast MN, has 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Sheri loves spending time outside, riding bike and traveling.
Lynn began her career at Kidder Peabody in 1983 as a Sales Assistant. She moved to Drexel and then to PaineWebber in 1990. While at PaineWebber/UBS, Lynn has transitioned through several roles: Sales Assistant, Branch Office Administrator, Administrative Manager, Complex Admin Manager and is now the Market Supervisory Officer Associate. Lynn has a double major in Business Administration and Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a minor in Spanish. Lynn is married to her husband, Butch for 37 years and has one child. Abby is 34 years old. She has three granddaughters, Eliette, Adelie and Lenna. In her free time, Lynn enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, working out, and reading.
Nancy has been with UBS for 10 years, both as a Supervisory Officer and in Operations Management. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a BBA in Marketing and has worked in the financial services industry for many years, holding various managerial positions in AML, Compliance Management and Brokerage Operations. Pastimes include gardening, reading, and playing golf.
Richard has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years; 25 of those at Merrill Lynch and 11 with UBS. He has served in many capacities including: risk/compliance, Administrative Manager, and Branch Manager. He has coached both high school and college women’s basketball. Richard spent many years on mission trips building schools and churches in Central and South America. He is currently loving and enjoying his 6 grandchildren. Life is good!
Marchelle joined UBS Financial Services in 2012 and has over 31 years of experience in the financial industry in various client facing roles at leading brokerage firms before going into management roles which focus on areas regarding risk and regulatory compliance. In 2012 Marchelle joined UBS as Complex Supervisory Officer for the Kansas City Market and currently serves as Supervisory Officer of the Midwest Market where she oversees compliance and regulatory duties primarily for the Kansas City, Missouri, Leawood and Wichita Kansas branches.
She believes that the ultimate UBS experience is having the tools to provide sound financial advice as a result of working in the best interest of the client. Marchelle graduated from University of Central Missouri former Central Missouri State University with a BS in Business Administration and Personnel Management and has earned the Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, 65 securities licenses as well as a Health, Life and Annuity insurance licenses.
In her free time Marchelle enjoys her passion for singing by working in her church’s music ministry. She also loves to spend time relaxing with her family by watching movies, reading a good suspense novel or traveling when time permits.
Joe has been with UBS for over 23years. Prior to joining the Midwest Market Joe served in various Operations and Supervisory functions in multiple branches in the Field and Home office. He was also awarded the title of Director for his outstanding service to the firm, and holds his Series 3, 7, 9, 10, and 66 securities licenses along with Life and Health Insurance licenses in NY and NJ. Joe currently resides in South Amboy, NJ. In his free time he enjoys traveling, movies, and spending time with his family.
Digital Specialist
As the Digital Specialist for the Midwest Market, Christine is responsible for training and education on the Digital tools that help an Advisors business grow. Being a former Client Service Associate and Branch Technology Liaison, her experience with the platforms allows her to know the importance of technology being efficient on both the employee and client side.
After graduating from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD in 2017, she worked at McDowell Financial Group with a focus on Life Insurance, and then joined UBS in 2018.
In her spare time you can find her outdoors hiking, running, and adventuring with her husband Dillon, son Theo, and dog Murphy.

Stephanie joined UBS in 2017 and she is currently the Client Experience Director for the Midwest market.
As a member of the Client Experience Organization, her mission is to make it easier to do business so our Financial
Advisors and their teams can spend more time with their clients. She partners closely with Market Leadership teams
and internal Client Service Center partners while also acting as an intermediary between the field and key stakeholder
groups to continually refine and optimize service offerings.
Professional history
Stephanie began her career in financial services in 2009. Prior to joining the Client Experience Organization at UBS
WM Americas, she was a Wealth Management Banker for UBS Bank USA focused on providing Financial Advisors and
their clients a variety of banking and lending options that complement a client's overall wealth management objective
permitting UBS Financial Services Inc. to offer, as appropriate, both asset and liability management services to their
clients.
Prior to UBS, her roles included Private Banker for Wells Fargo and Project Manager for both Securities America and
Carson Wealth Management Group which were propelled by her multiple positions held at TD Ameritrade.
Education and personal information
Stephanie holds a BS in Business Management & Analysis from Bellevue University. She also holds several designations
and licenses including the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses.
Outside of the office, when she's not busy volunteering at her son's school or going to his events, Stephanie enjoys
traveling, trying new restaurants, and volunteering for multiple non-profits throughout the Omaha metro area.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BS in Finance and Banking, Mike held a variety of leadership roles, including financial advisor, in the financial services industry before joining UBS. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Investment & Wealth Institute and University of Pennsylvania—The Wharton School.
Helping his community is an integral part of Mike’s life. He is a past recipient of the UBS Community Involvement award, which focuses on working with UBS’s strategic nonprofit partners to give back to the community. Mike’s own involvement with charitable organizations includes mentoring our service members and veterans through American Corporate Partners and volunteering for Ronald McDonald House, City Union Mission, the Great Plains SPCA and Harvesters Community Food Network.
Michael and his wife, Dawn, live in Leawood, Kansas, and have two adult children. Mike is an avid golfer, enjoys fitness, is a passionate University of Nebraska Athletics fan and likes American history novels. He and Dawn enjoy traveling to Colorado and Napa Valley together.
Mark is the Midwest Market Associate Market Executive for UBS Wealth Management USA. Mark focuses on supporting market wide initiatives and sales practices while overseeing the Leawood, KS branch. Prior to joining UBS in 2022, Mark spent 12 years at Ivy Investments in various sales leadership roles, including Head of Internal Sales.
Mark is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65 licenses. Mark graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Mark and his wife, Haley, live in Shawnee, KS and have two young children, Miller and Dillon. In his spare time, Mark enjoys fitness, planning vacations, and watching the Kansas Jayhawks. His family enjoys hanging out with their two Boston terriers, Wally and Dawson.
Brianna is the Associate Market Executive and Market Business Manager of the Midwest Market for UBS Financial Services Inc. The market consists of 310 Financial Advisors located across nine states: Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota servicing the wealth management needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Brianna has spent her entire career at UBS, starting in the London office in 2012 as the Learning and Development Analyst focused on collaboration between Wealth Management, Investment Bank and Asset Management. Since then, she was the Campus Recruiting and Graduate Training Program Coordinator which involved recruiting junior talent from top universities and assisting them in the career development within UBS Wealth Management. Most recently, Brianna was a Senior Events Specialist for UBS Wealth Management and curating world-class events for our clients, incentive trips for our top financial advisors, and conferences for the firm.
Brianna received her International M.B.A. from the St. Mary’s University Twickenham in London, UK, and in partnership with Naresuan University in Bangkok, TH. She also graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Currently she holds her FINRA Series 7, 9, 10 licenses; NASSA Series 66 license; and Life, Health and Accident Insurance Licenses.
Brianna grew up in Denver, CO, and currently lives in Minneapolis, MN, with her partner, Eric, and their two dogs, Turbo and Rider. She has also lived in Jersey City, NJ, Bangkok, TH, and London, UK. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, Broadway shows, concerts, and hiking. Brianna has also sky-dived three times, bungee jumped once, and goes whitewater rafting.
As the Market Director, Bruce is responsible for leading the Financial Advisors and their teams in Minneapolis as well as the Bloomington business. He focuses on partnering with his Advisors and their teams to help them grow their practices, deliver the unparalleled resources of UBS to their clients, and create an outstanding client experience.
Bruce grew up in New Jersey, graduated from the United States Naval Academy and went on to earn his MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1996, he served on active duty as a Naval Supply Officer for 5 years as well as 3 years in the Naval Reserves.
After 10 years as a Financial Advisor, he took on the Regional Development Officer role with the firm in 2005. Bruce and his family moved to Minneapolis in 2007 when he became the Assistant Branch Manager in the UBS Nicollet Mall office. In 2008 he was recruited by Morgan Stanley where he was a key member of the Complex management team for 5 years. After spending a year and a half as the Branch Manager of the Ameriprise office in Edina, MN, Bruce came back to UBS as the Assistant Market Head of the Minnesota – Northern Planes Market. He assumed the role of Complex Director for the Minneapolis-Bloomington Complex in August of 2021.
He and his wife, Michiko, live in Plymouth, MN with their teenage son, Alex.
With more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bob joined UBS in 2008. Bob is a director responsible for helping financial advisors to grow their business practices in the Chicago Tower Market. This encompasses transactional and investment linked products across all asset classes as well as hedging and trading through a wealth management approach. In addition, Bob sources partnering opportunities to leverage the firm's capabilities; which deliver institutional products to very sophisticated high-net-worth clients.
Bob has been with UBS for over 10 years and is the Branch Manager of the Madison, WI office. He has played a vital role in growing and retaining employee culture across the firm, transforming the Chicago Tower into a leading Market, by coaching his financial advisors, support staff and management team to serve their clients to the best of their abilities. His leadership is critical to sustaining long-term growth and retaining the industries best talent. Bob is well known for his networking and collaborative success by working across the firm to take full advantage of our capabilities, ensuring the world’s largest wealth manager continues to deliver the excellence our client expect. He is working to actively move decision making closer to the client for a successful delivery of WMA's new, more efficient operating model.
Bob is actively involved at the Ravinia Festival as an Executive Board member of the Ravinia Associates raising funds and increasing awareness for Chicago Public Schools music programs. Bob consistently receives the Global Community Award for his outstanding contributions to society in partnership with UBS Community Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility Americas. I was named the Market Director for UBS's Oklahoma offices in 2022 and with more than 23 years of wealth management leadership experience, I serve as an advocate and partner to Financial Advisors and Team Associates to deliver world class wealth management advice and client experience for our clients.
In partnering with leaders throughout the firm, I help foster a culture of connectivity between the firm and the Financial Advisors with a primary responsibility to help drive organic growth and add talented individuals to the Oklahoma offices. My diverse background in the industry helps me navigate all the capabilities of UBS and ensure the advisors and support teams have not only the best but the maximum resources to serve the needs of clients, both through the strength of UBS and the timely responsiveness of the local leadership team to implement solutions and resolve issues.
I am an Oklahoma native and support various non-profits having previously founded an animal rescue group as well as serving as the event chair for the Tulsa Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I have a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and am Prosci® Change Management certified.
My husband, Brent and I reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and attending concerts. We love scheduling trips around beautiful destinations and great restaurants plus spending time with family and friends.
James began his career in the financial services industry in 2009 at AXA Advisors. A graduate of Augustana College, James moved to UBS in 2013. With his energetic drive, he brings a unique insurance background, along with wealth management abilities to the firm. James takes great pride in his personal touch and ability to help clients in many aspects of their financial world.
A native of Sioux Falls, James lives in Sioux Falls with his wife Elizabeth, and their two children, son Benjamin, and daughter Avery. James is a devoted father, and loves every moment he can spend outdoors and traveling with his family.
Away from the office, James has been involved with a group of musicians as a singer/songwriter since the age of 12. He, and his fellow musicians, have traveled around the country bringing their music that has resonated with people of all ages. James, an avid golfer, can also be found competing in many tournaments throughout the summer.

Since 2012, Justin has held roles in field leadership at UBS. In 2021, he was named the Complex Director for the St. Paul and Great Plains Complex for UBS. In this role, Justin is responsible for the businesses in St. Paul, MN, St. Cloud, MN, Alexandria, MN, Fargo, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, West Des Moines, IA and Davenport, IA. Justin has also served as the Branch Manager for Wayzata, MN, St. Paul, MN and as the Assistant Complex Director for the Minnesota Complex. Now in his current role as Market Director, Justin oversees the Wayzata, MN, St. Paul, MN, St. Cloud, MN and Fargo, ND offices.
Prior to 2012, Justin held various roles at UBS and predecessor firms -- ranging from leading home office sales support teams, leading technology and practice management training teams, and serving as regional business analyst. With this wide range of experience over his 25-plus year career, Justin is able to listen to advisors and their teams as they share the vision for their practices. Equally as important, he connects teams to the right people from around the firm in order to bring the best of UBS to clients and advisor practices.
Justin earned his B.S. degree in Mathematics and Economics from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Stephanie, and two sons. Outside of work, Justin spends much of his summer and fall coaching for the Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association. When not coaching or watching a ball game, he enjoys traveling with his family, running (two-time marathon finisher) and recently began taking guitar lessons.
Steve Michael is the Executive & Market Director of the UBS’ Kansas City & Wichita Offices; responsible for domestic business emanating out of Kansas City & Wichita, overseeing teams of Financial Advisors & Team Associates who manage a combined total of over $7.6 Billion in client assets, focused on leveraging UBS’ competitive advantage, its global posture, perspective & positioning, and its products, services & platforms to deliver a full range of solutions and the very best in Wealth Management for their Clients.
Steve has been with UBS since April of 2021 after having served 32 years in the Army of the United States, retiring as a General Officer. Over the years he has earned a reputation as a growth catalyst & motivator, adept at leading & inspiring collaborative teams, positioning organizations for excellence and peak productivity. Steve believes in developing & investing in people. Throughout his career, he has created trust-based, inter-connected organizations that leverage the talent and abilities of each individual to improve efficiency, accountability & outcomes. Steve holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy, was the 2012-13 Senior Service College Fellow to Columbia University, and has his Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 registrations.

Steve is married to the former Sandra Stanford of Georgetown Guyana. They are proud parents of Vaughn, Shane, Sean and Chanel. Steve enjoys reading, both history and fiction and is a New York Yankee and Giants fan; albeit, with himself and Sandra living in Kansas City, Missouri, they have become Chiefs and Royals fans (as long as they are not playing the Giants or the Yankees). Steve and Sandra enjoy traveling the Midwest, learning about its history and meeting its great people.
Tom began his career with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. in 1990, and joined Smith Barney Shearson in 1993. He began his manager career in 2004 as a Producing Sales Manager at Smith Barney Shearson. It was during his time as Producing Sales Manager that Tom discovered his passion for management. In 2006 Tom joined UBS as the Branch Manager of the Davenport UBS branch. In 2017 Tom was promoted to run the Iowa business for UBS.
A graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance, Tom has also earned Series 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities. Tom splits his time in West Des Moines, and Davenport.
He is a member of Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines. He has two daughters and one grandchild. Morgan lives in West Des Moines, and McKenzie lives in Davenport, along with her first child and Tom’s first grandson. So, whether Tom is working in West Des Moines or Davenport, he always has one of his daughters nearby. Tom is actively involved with the youth of his community and has coached softball, volleyball, and baseball for the last 25 years. He has served on the advisory board for the Davenport YMCA, and is a supporter of Family Resources. He enjoys working out, spending time with his daughters and grandson, and playing golf.
Gary is the Executive Director and Market Director of the UBS offices in Clayton and Chesterfield Missouri. Having been in the financial industry for over 38 years, he's held a number of roles starting with being a Financial Advisor for 17, and Management positions thereafter. He knows his Advisors and their priorities, and prides himself in supporting their success in many ways.
Gary often likens the financial services industry to another of his passions - the sports world. He points to parallels like the highs, the lows, the challenges and mental preparation. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 9, and 10 licenses, and insurance licenses.
He earned a MBS from Lindenwood University after receiving his undergraduate degree in Business from Central Methodist University in 1977. Gary has also served on the board of a number of St. Louis charities; he was a past President of the Board of Governors at the Missouri Athletic Club, a past member of the University of Missouri - St. Louis International Business Advisory Board, and a former board member of St. Louis AAA Amateur Blues and Hockey Board of Directors.
Gary lives in St. Louis with his wife Julie, and has three grown children.
Theresa has been in the financial industry for 39 years. 33 of those years at UBS. She has had the opportunity to work in a branch, Region, Market, Division, and Home Office settings through her tenure. Some of you may remember her as the Heartland Region Admin Officer before we changed the structure to Divisions. Most recently, Theresa represented our Administrative Team as the Central Division Admin Officer and just recently stepped into the new Midwest Market Admin Officer role. She has been married to husband Bob for 35 years and has 3 adult children and 4 grandsons. (Eventually hoping for a girl!) Family is her priority and when there is time, she enjoys getting out to golf and spending weekends with family at their lake house.
Mary began her career at Norwest Investment Services, now Wells Fargo. After earning her Series 7 and 63 she transitioned to Prudential Securities. That move would eventually bring her to a new build new office location for Piper Jaffray in Edina, MN. Piper Jaffray was acquired by UBS Financial and Mary has been with the company ever since.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A.A. in English Education she has also earned her Series 9, 10, 31, 65 as well as licenses for life, health, variable life, and variable annuity. Mary offices in the UBS Minneapolis location.
Mary has two children and a darling Granddaughter. She resides in New Brighton, MN with her husband, Kent, and son Sam.
Marit joined the financial services industry in 2017 and she has been with UBS since 2022. She currently serves as Administrative Manager for the Wayzata, MN, St. Cloud, MN, Alexandria, MN, and Fargo, ND offices.
Prior to 2017, Marit spent 12 years in leadership roles in the food service and retail industries. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed coaching and developing her teams toward achieving their highest potential, and she continues to pursue that passion with UBS. In addition to her supervisory duties, Marit provides tailored coaching for Wealth Management teams on building efficiencies into their business routines and supporting each individual’s professional development.
Marit earned her B.A. degree in Theater Arts from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. She holds FINRA Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 licenses. In her spare time, Marit enjoys spending time with her husband and children in their garden, hiking in the many regional parks in the Twin Cities, trying new recipes, and finding ever-more-challenging puzzles to complete.
Kara joined UBS in 2022 as an Administrative Manager for the Midwest Market. She leads our Minneapolis and Bloomington team of client service and support associates, partnering as a coach and mentor.
Kara has spent most of her professional career in the financial services industry. Beginning at Dean Witter Reynolds in 1986, she has held several roles over the years in management, supervision, compliance surveillance, and client service. Residing in Eagan with husband Richard, she enjoys traveling, art, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Kara holds several security licenses (Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 66) along with a Minnesota life and health insurance license.
Dana has been with UBS for over 15 years. She joined the firm as an Intern the summer before her Senior year in college. After graduating, Dana joined UBS full time as a Branch Service Associate. Over the years, she has held various roles in both Operations and Administration and is currently a Branch Administrative Manager. Dana graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in Biology and minor in Business. She holds the series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65. Dana lives in Cottage Grove, MN with her husband, Tom and two boys, Connor and Evan. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and reading a good book.
David began my career in the financial industry in 1983 with R. Rowland and Company. In 1985, he moved to a Communications/Client Services Manager position with RBC Correspondent Services. From 2000 to 2010, he served as Branch Operations Manager at UBS. In 2014, David earned the Certified Financial Planner designation. He has a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University. David currently has 4 grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson, Mavery, and Jameson and another baby girl due this coming May.
Heather joined as Administrative Manager of the Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK offices in May 2022. She brings to the firm over 20 years industry experience. Heather was most recently with Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Management Associate for a Private Wealth Management team serving ultra-high net worth clients. She previously worked at Wells Fargo Advisors as Complex Operations Manager for 13 years. Heather’s well-rounded knowledge of the business in both management and operational service give her a deep understanding of client service excellence and how important a financial advisor’s relationship is with each client. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Finance. Heather loves a good challenge and finding a solution for both internal and external clients. She enjoys traveling as much as possible, reading and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
Jenna was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and eventually went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. After college, she ran a business for several years in Lincoln and then eventually moved to Omaha, NE in 2018 where she began her career in finance. Jenna worked with TD Ameritrade for a few years before coming over to UBS in November of 2021 to be the Admin Manager for Lincoln and Omaha! She’s currently still living in Omaha with her dog Ronix. In her free time, she enjoys golfing (when it’s warm enough), spending time with her family and her many nieces and nephews, and relaxing with the pup!
Amie has been in the wealth management industry since 2004, starting as a Client Associate with Merrill Lynch. After spending 15 years in a client facing capacity, she shifted to a leadership position and now covers the states of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska as Market Administrative Officer. Amie is passionate about serving in her community and church. As a mom of an Autistic child, she is especially passionate about connecting with other special needs parents and kids. Outside of work, she can usually be found spending time outside with her family, cooking out with neighbors, or finding a new hiking trail to explore.
Sheri started in the business in 1993 at Dean Witter as a Sales Assistant. She then took a position at Piper Jaffray in 1997 as Reg. Sales Assistant, Branch Administrative Supervisory, and Interim Branch Manager in 2006 during the acquisition of Piper Jaffray to UBS. During the acquisition to UBS, she moved to her current role as Market Supervisory Officer. She holds her Series 7, 9/10, 63, 31 and Life/Health Insurance licenses. Sheri received her BS degree in Finance from Winona State University. She is married and lives in Southeast MN, has 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Sheri loves spending time outside, riding bike and traveling.
Lynn began her career at Kidder Peabody in 1983 as a Sales Assistant. She moved to Drexel and then to PaineWebber in 1990. While at PaineWebber/UBS, Lynn has transitioned through several roles: Sales Assistant, Branch Office Administrator, Administrative Manager, Complex Admin Manager and is now the Market Supervisory Officer Associate. Lynn has a double major in Business Administration and Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a minor in Spanish. Lynn is married to her husband, Butch for 37 years and has one child. Abby is 34 years old. She has three granddaughters, Eliette, Adelie and Lenna. In her free time, Lynn enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, working out, and reading.
Nancy has been with UBS for 10 years, both as a Supervisory Officer and in Operations Management. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a BBA in Marketing and has worked in the financial services industry for many years, holding various managerial positions in AML, Compliance Management and Brokerage Operations. Pastimes include gardening, reading, and playing golf.
Richard has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years; 25 of those at Merrill Lynch and 11 with UBS. He has served in many capacities including: risk/compliance, Administrative Manager, and Branch Manager. He has coached both high school and college women’s basketball. Richard spent many years on mission trips building schools and churches in Central and South America. He is currently loving and enjoying his 6 grandchildren. Life is good!
Marchelle joined UBS Financial Services in 2012 and has over 31 years of experience in the financial industry in various client facing roles at leading brokerage firms before going into management roles which focus on areas regarding risk and regulatory compliance. In 2012 Marchelle joined UBS as Complex Supervisory Officer for the Kansas City Market and currently serves as Supervisory Officer of the Midwest Market where she oversees compliance and regulatory duties primarily for the Kansas City, Missouri, Leawood and Wichita Kansas branches.
She believes that the ultimate UBS experience is having the tools to provide sound financial advice as a result of working in the best interest of the client. Marchelle graduated from University of Central Missouri former Central Missouri State University with a BS in Business Administration and Personnel Management and has earned the Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, 65 securities licenses as well as a Health, Life and Annuity insurance licenses.
In her free time Marchelle enjoys her passion for singing by working in her church’s music ministry. She also loves to spend time relaxing with her family by watching movies, reading a good suspense novel or traveling when time permits.
Joe has been with UBS for over 23years. Prior to joining the Midwest Market Joe served in various Operations and Supervisory functions in multiple branches in the Field and Home office. He was also awarded the title of Director for his outstanding service to the firm, and holds his Series 3, 7, 9, 10, and 66 securities licenses along with Life and Health Insurance licenses in NY and NJ. Joe currently resides in South Amboy, NJ. In his free time he enjoys traveling, movies, and spending time with his family.

As the Digital Specialist for the Midwest Market, Christine is responsible for training and education on the Digital tools that help an Advisors business grow. Being a former Client Service Associate and Branch Technology Liaison, her experience with the platforms allows her to know the importance of technology being efficient on both the employee and client side.
After graduating from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD in 2017, she worked at McDowell Financial Group with a focus on Life Insurance, and then joined UBS in 2018.

Prior to UBS, her roles included Private Banker for Wells Fargo and Project Manager for both Securities America and
Carson Wealth Management Group which were propelled by her multiple positions held at TD Ameritrade.
