Jim is the Market Executive for Greater Boston WM & PWM of UBS Global Wealth Management Americas where he oversees the domestic business within 5 offices in and surrounding Boston, with satellite offices located in the New England area. He oversees approximately 225 financial advisors and over $80 billion in client assets. With a focus on providing unparalleled service to both employees and clients, Jim has worked to create a culture that he refers to as "the Best Place in Town." The Best Place reflects the best most competent Financial Advisors, the best most competent Client Service Associates, the best most tenured operations team, the most supportive and responsive management team, and lastly the most professional facility and environment. Jim's aim for the Greater Boston Market is to be the firm of choice for Wealth Management advice in the communities we serve.
Jim joined UBS in 2009 as the Complex Director of the 200 Park Avenue, New York office. Jim has over 35 years' experience in the financial services industry. Jim held numerous roles including, Client Service Associate, Financial Advisor, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and Complex Director. After 14 years as a club level producer Jim decided he was more passionate about coaching and helping his employees reach their full potential.
Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut in 1983. Jim and his wife, of 39 years, Maureen, reside in Hingham, MA. Jim has three children, Meghan, Michael, and Stephen and three grandchildren, Madison, Sawyer, and Jameson. Jim sees his career as a means to end and works diligently to balance his commitments to both UBS and his family. Jim enjoys spending quality time with his family, skiing, boating, and vacationing together.
Ian MacNeill is the Market Director for Downtown Boston and North Shore in the Greater Boston Market. In this role, Ian is driving firm initiatives and goals while collaborating, coaching and recruiting the best Wealth Advisors in the industry to help them achieve their professional and personal goals. Before joining the Downtown office, Ian was the Northeast Divisional Sales Manager at UBS Financial Services. In that role, he drove business growth by connecting wealth management professionals and their clients to the firm’s unparalleled resources, insights, and intellectual capital. Previously, Ian was the UBS Branch Manager in Springfield, MA. Ian began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Private Wealth Management Group. As part of a larger team, he was a Private Wealth Advisor and later started his field leadership in Boston, MA as a Sales Manager.
Susan Wolff is a Director and Market Supervisory Officer for the UBS Greater Boston Market, GWM Americas. As Market Supervisory Officer, Susan is responsible for overseeing compliance, risk, legal and regulatory items for the entire Market consisting of 200+ advisors. Susan works directly alongside Advisors, their teams and Supervisory Officers to deliver our clients the utmost satisfaction while ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory guidelines and policies. Susan also focuses her energy promoting our internal networking group known as All Bar None. The mission is to educate, engage and empower women within the organization. Susan currently serves as Co-Chair of the local Chapter of All Bar None Boston, she previously served a Co-Chair Field Connectors for All Bar None Chapters across US branches.
Prior to Susan's role as Market Supervisory Officer, she served as Market Administrative Officer working on managing operational and administrative matters for the Market. She previously led volunteer activities, organizing and implementing event as well as driving participation. She has made an impact in the community and strengthened the working relationships and team culture within our offices. Prior to joining the Greater Boston Market, Susan was with the Hartford, Connecticut UBS location, formerly PaineWebber, as Complex/Risk Officer and Branch Administrative Manager.
Susan attended Temple University and holds FINRA Series 7, 8, 63, and 65 licenses. Susan and her husband, Brian of 35 years. They have two children, and two grandchildren. Susan enjoys spending quality time with family as well as gardening, photography, and traveling.
Mark has been with UBS for over 25 years, originally joining PaineWebber in the Wellesley office in 1999. Since that time he has had a variety of field leadership roles, most recently as the Associate Market Executive for the Greater Boston Market.
In his present role as Assistant Market Head - tasked with developing business strategy while working with internal and external partners to deliver tools and resources that Advisors (and their teams) need to best grow their business and serve their clients.
Mark earned his BA in Business Administration from Westfield Sate College in Westfield, MA. He is FINRA-registered and holds his Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 65 and Life insurance licenses.
Mark and his wife, Christy, reside in Walpole, MA with their two children, Zachary and Katelyn. In his spare time, Mark enjoys coaching youth sports, playing golf, and rooting for all the Boston Sports teams.
Melissa joined the UBS team in 2017 as Executive Team Assistant. She works closely with Jim Ducey and the Greater Boston Market Management Team in a variety of capacities to support the smooth operation of team functionality and assist with the overall execution of Market objectives. Prior to UBS, Melissa spent 10 years in Branch Operation roles at several brokerage firms. Outside of work, Melissa and her husband Patrick enjoy spending time outdoors at their home in Merrimack, NH. Melissa currently holds FINRA license Series 7, 24 and 66.
